LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary Sets Releasing in March

The anniversary celebration officially starts for LEGO Star Wars on March 1st. Five new and highly anticipated sets will launch with the 25th anniversary box art. These sets include three new midi-scale starships, a playset, and a buildable character.

The starships include a re-release of the Millennium Falcon, the Tantive IV, and the first appearance of the Invisible Hand. All of these starships include a nameplate, stand, and the new 25th anniversary, R2-D2 hologram brick. The Millennium Falcon and Tantive IV includes stud figures integrated in the build that represent characters from movie scenes. The Invisible Hand has the unique feature of splitting in half. The playset is based on the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope. The build is a hallway from the Tantive IV. There are seven total minifigures. Darth Vader, Captain Antilles, two stormtroopers, and two rebel soldiers. The seventh figure is Phase 2 Fives. This is a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary exclusive that includes a display stand.
The buildable character is R2-D2. Some features include a rotating head, a removeable third leg, and moveable arms It comes with an information tile and R2-D2 minifigure.
